The suspension was announced in August after a number of cases of RHD2 were confirmed in Ireland.
Cases of the disease have been found in Cork, Clare, Leitrim, Offaly, Wicklow and Wexford.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service is asking the public to report any suspected discoveries of the disease.
A photograph of the dead rabbits was posted online by Cork’s Red FM.
“The unedited images… explicitly demonstrate the rabbits’ suffering,” the One Voice group wrote in its appeal.
