New roof at Dublin's Pearse Station and other works to cause disruption to Irish Rail users this weekend

A number of service alterations are in place due to line works around the country this weekend.

IRISH RAIL HAS SAID this evening that bus transfers are in operation between Longford and Dromod after a fire beside the line earlier today. The company tweeted: “Fire extinguished, assessing damage to lineside cabling”. Services on the Sligo to Dublin line have been delayed as a result.
