What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow. rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Ray D’Arcy show (RTE 1, 9.45pm)

Ray is back, and the line-up tonight is quite decent. Sarah Harding, ex Girls Aloud member and recent Celebrity Big Brother winner will be in the studio for chats. Oh My God What a Complete Aisling authors Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen will also be on, along with some real-life Aislings joining them in the audience.

The second of the many Fast and Furious movies (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

The second instalment of the franchise that just won’t quit, 2 Fast 2 Furious. Hey, turn off your mind and enjoy.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC 1, 6.25pm)

It’s the first official challenge for the new intake of Strictly celebs.  See the likes of Aston from JLS, Alexandra Burke, Debbie McGee, Jonnie Peacock, and Molly King all dance for your amusement.


Everybody’s talking about… Peaky Blinders

We got our first sneak peek of the new series of Peaky Blinders and the excitement is too much.

Bonus points if you spot Charlie Murphy aka Love/Hate’s Siobhan as a new addition.

The X Factor (TV 3, 8pm) Perfect Saturday night TV.

The Longest Yard (TV 3, 9.15pm) A washed-up football quarter back gets arrested and is challenged with putting a team together to challenge the guards. Adam Sandler is in it, but don’t let that put you off.

Later… with Jools Holland 25th Birthday Show (BBC 2, 9pm) It’s a star-studded anniversary edition with appearances from Foo Fighters, Paul Weller, Dizzee Rascal, Van Morrison, KT Tunstall, Gregory Porter and many more.

Cowboys and Aliens (Channel 4, 9pm) A town in the wild, wild west is overcome with supernatural happenings.
