'Squiggle brows' are here, but people aren't convinced

FIRST THERE WERE feather brows.

Now, beauty bloggers are experimenting with โ€œwiggle brows.โ€

Then, barbed wire brows were a thing.

Now, brow trends are going in an entirely new and non-uniform direction.

Enter, squiggle brows.

New Brow trend??? When you're tired of being basic. Somebody dare me to go out like this ๐ŸŒŠ @melovemealot vibezz

Beauty guru, YouTuber and makeup chameleon Promise Tamang kicked off the trend, posting the above photo to Instagram.

The trend basically involves sculpting and drawing your brows on so that they resemble a wave, or a squiggle, before setting them with glue.

Some people have even gone as far as bleaching or shaving their brows in order to achieve the look.

Itโ€™s safe to say the reaction she received was โ€ฆ Mixed.

While some people threw themselves into the trendโ€ฆ

โ€ฆ Others made memes.
