EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Cork’s Megaport (TV3, 9pm)

Absolutely hands down, this is the best title for a TV show we’ve seen in yonks. That’s right, Cork boasts a MEGAPORT that sees 10 million tonnes of cargo pass through every single year. If that fact has piqued your interest, or you just love the word MEGAPORT, then you should tune into this documentary tonight for insights into the successful industry down in the Real Capital. One more time, say it with us: MEGAPORT.

Love for Sale with Rupert Everett (Channel 4, 10pm)

First in a two-part documentary about sex work. Rupert, who you’ll recognise from movies like My Best Friend’s Wedding, investigates why people buy and sell sex – he meets an Exeter housewife who says she loves what she does, a £700 per hour escort in Mayfair and men on the fringes of society in Tel Aviv. Maybe not one to watch if you’re staying in with the parents.

Restaurant Wars (BBC Two, 8pm)

Last in the series of the battling restaurants – top chefs Simon Rogan and Aiden Byrne both try to open fine dining restaurants a few hundred yards from each other in Manchester. Who will prevail? Expect some pots and pans to be banging around, like when your Mam is in a fouler making the Sunday dinner.

Trending: #The Leftovers

HBO are the masters of the addictive series market. The channel spit out much-loved gems like Game of Thrones, Girls, True Detective, Sex And The City, True Blood and The Sopranos – so there’s no reason to think their newest offering, The Leftovers, will be any different.

LOST co-creator Damon Lindelof is on board, as well as Liv Tyler, Justin Theroux and Christopher Eccleston. Basically, the premise is 2% of the world’s population disappear suddenly at once, with the “Leftovers” left behind to figure out what the hell has happened. Check out the first look at the trailer below:

Or switch over for…

  • Modern Family (Sky One, 8.30pm) continues with its fifth series of hilarious family-based absurdity.
  • Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (TG4, 9.30pm) is the film for you if you’re in the mood for watching Vince Vaughn get belted with some balls.
  • The Centre (RTE 2, 10pm) recently got itself into hot water with controversy over its depiction of trans* people. You can catch its latest episode tonight.
  • Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Film Four, 7.10pm) isn’t a movie about your Nana on the internet.
  • Teen Mom 3 (MTV, 9pm) is on in the wake of Catelynn and Tyler being in Dublin.
