Radical science guide to Dublin wins €10,000 prize

Includes a mention of the Office of Public Erections.

WE BROUGHT YOU this video earlier this month when it was shortlisted for the Uniquely Dublin competition, and now it’s only gone and won the top prize.

The satirical short spits out facts like “Dublin’s Spire was erected to celebrate Ireland’s manned space programme” and “water from the Liffey is routinely collected to cure syphilis”.

The competition was launched earlier this year asking filmmakers, musicians and artists to produce their vision of what makes the city the way it is. You can check out some more of the entries here and here.
