What to Watch on TV Tonight: Tuesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Derry Girls (Channel 4, 9.15pm)

Our favourite fivesome are back, and this time they’re joined by none other than Ardal O’Hanlon. Tonight’s episode centres on a family wedding – prime content, says you. And who’d have thought it, but the girls and James haven’t a notion how to behave and end up wreaking havoc at the reception.

Irish in Wonderland (RTÉ 2, 10.35pm)

The first episode in a two-part series, Yasmine Akram chats to Irish ex-pats who have carved out very lucrative careers in the US and France by working with the country’s wealthiest folk. We’re talking estate agents, helicopter pilots and health coaches here.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer (Channel 4, 8pm)

Jeremy Paxman, Joe Wilkinson, Sally Lindsay and Georgia Toffolo are out to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith in the latest installment of Celebrity Bake-Off which is presented by Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig. But who will rise to the occasion during the Signature challenge and who will prove most adept during the infamous Technical?

Everyone’s talking about… the twins in US.

It’s always slightly unnerving to encounter TV or film characters in adulthood who you knew solely as kids, or indeed, infants.

And that’s exactly how the public felt when the learned that they had already met the girls who play Becca and Lindsey Tyler in Jordan Peele’s new horror, Us.

Y’see, the 16-year-olds once played baby Emma; Ross and Rachel’s child in the 9th and 10th seasons of Friends.

And apparently, it’s a lot to take in.
