VIDEO: Your weekend movies… Anchorman 2 & American Hustle

Cinema trip this weekend? brings you snippets from new releases to help you decide where to put your money…

WHICH NEW MOVIE release is worth the price of a cinema ticket this weekend?

We’re here to help you decide just that, with these trailers.

American Hustle

(Movies coming soon/YouTube)

For fans of: Jennifer ‘Luminous’ Lawrence, hustlers

Avoid if: The thought of a curly-haired Bradley Cooper terrifies you

A stellar cast – Christian Bale, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams – star in this film about a con artist and his partner, who are forced to work with an FBI agent to turn other cons in. Much drama predictably ensues.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

(Anchorman Movie/YouTube)

For fans of: The legend that is Ron Burgundy

Avoid if: You’re trapped in a glass case of emotion

The news team is back, it’s the 1980s, and the legend is continuing. Go see.

The Harry Hill Movie

(Harry Hill Fansite/YouTube)

For fans of: Slapstick humour, glasses

Avoid if: You prefer subtitled European films

Julie Walters plays Harry Hill’s mother in the comedian’s second film. Fans of his TV Burp show will know that Hill specialises in a quirky and crude, but not particularly nasty, form of comedy that will certainly rouse a laugh out of most of us. Work off some Christmas calories giggling at this.
