AIDAN TURNER IS very busy at the minute.
He’s currently starring in ‘The Lieutenant of Inishmore’ in London, a very funny play by all accounts.
In the midst of getting rave reviews for his performance, he caught the eye of, eh, David Walliams’ mother.
Mother Walliams and son went to see Turner on the stage, and, like the rest of us, she was very taken with him.
Having a celeb son proved to be advantageous that night, as the pair got to go back stage and see the star. Walliams praised Turner’s performance – and general gentleman-liness – on Twitter.
“I don’t think I have ever seen my mum happier! Aidan Turner is an absolute gentlemen. We went to see him in ‘The Lieutenant of Inishmore’. He was hilarious, & so lovely to us both afterwards.
It was just a shame we didn’t get backstage fast enough to see him in his underpants.”
