Well, you may as well ignore them all, because Tesco are selling gin and elderflower Easter eggs for those who fancy a treat and a tipple (and realistically, who cares about your weight? Chocolate, please. Thanks).
The Tesco finest* Gin & Elderflower Egg is a hollow elderflower flavoured Belgian milk and dark chocolate egg made by Lir Chocolate. The actual egg doesn’t have any gin in it, though there’s nothing stopping you filling it with some á la the Union Grind’s Easter egg hot chocolate.
You can wash it down with the accompanying gin and elderflower flavoured truffles. The whole thing will set you back €11.
In the event that you fancy something a bit less boozy, Tesco are also stocking salted caramel and chocolate hazelnut eggs to boot, as well as your standard milk and dark chocolate offerings.
