7 gigs on throughout January that you can still get tickets for

Looking to escape the January blues?

IF YOU’RE ANYTHING like us, you found it near-impossible to get up this morning.

Not that getting back to routine can’t be a good thing, but with a month of celebrations behind us and a long January ahead, we don’t have a whole lot to look forward to.

Well, in an effort to change that, we’ve been having a look at some of big events going on throughout the month – namely, music events.

If you missed out on some of the big name events that went on sale before Christmas, not to worry, there are actually some seriously impressive gigs happening this month and for a lot cheaper.

Here are seven shows that you can still get tickets for and definitely should.

1. David Keenan – Friday, January 4

Start the new year on a good note (sorry, couldn’t help myself). Dundalk man David Keenan kicks off a busy 2019 with a night in the Set Theatre in Kilkenny.

Tickets for the show are just €21 and as anyone who has seen this singer-songwriter live will tell you, it’s well worth it.

2. The 1975 – Thursday, January 10

The 1975 are coming back to Ireland next week to play the 3Arena.

While standing tickets are long gone, you can get a seat for the show from as little as €36.92.

3. Kathryn Joseph – Saturday, January 19

Scottish singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph is coming to The Workmans Club in Dublin later this month.

And what’s even better news is that tickets to see her are just €15.62

4. Rudimental – Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20

If it’s a good bop you’re after then tickets to see Rudimental in the Olympia Theatre is probably a good shout.

On sale for just €46.87, you still have your pick of both shows.

5. Hayley Kiyoko – Wednesday, January 20

After selling out her first show in the Olympia, Hayley Kiyoko has announced a second night for Irish fans.

And tickets are an absolute bargain at just €26.93.

6. Boyzone – Thursday, January 24

Yet another band from our childhood is back to relive the good ‘ol days. But it seems with so much choice, tickets for Boyzone’s 3Arena gig have yet to sell out.

Lucky for you, you can pick up some seats for €68.15.

7. Ben Howard – Friday, January 25

You still have time to grab yourself a place at Ben Howard’s upcoming gig in the 3Arena.

With both standing and seating options available, prices start from just €46.97.
