There's a new nail bar in Dublin with a deadly subscription service where you can get free cocktails

What more could you want?

WE COULD ALL do with a little tiny dollop of luxury sometimes.

Like, nothing mad affluent (or, God forbid, notion-y), just an hour or so where we can sit down, get pampered and pretend that we are Rather Important.

Chipped nail salon in Powerscourt could be just the place to do that!

Founder Roisin Lawless wanted to establish a nail bar that “focused on the vibes and atmosphere of a salon”, as well as being a place that does class nails, natch.

Cool, but what do I get from the place?

As well as having charging ports for your phone, laptop tables at the pedi chairs and a LIVE INSTAGRAM FEED ON THE WALL (#nailfies at the ready!), they offer a couple of different subscription services depending on how often you get your claws did:

  • The Basic Bitch is €29 – it’ll get you 4 file & paints per month, a free gift per month and a free manicure voucher for a friend annually.
  • Slicker Than Your Average is €49 – you get 4 3-week polish treatments on your hands, a free gift per month and a free gift voucher for a friend annually.
  • So Extra costs €79 and gets you 4 hand treatments per month (includying VinylLux, gel extensions, and Shellac),  as well as 1 Nails & Cocktails session a month, a free gift per month, as well as bring a friend for free every month!

They’re also open late all week, slogging away until 10pm Thursdays and Fridays to get you ready for the weekend. You can also book the place for a party or hen-do, should you feel so inclinced.

Chipped is now open at the Powerscourt Centre in Dublin 2.
