ENSURING THAT YOU retrieve your drug mule bag should generally be at the top of your priority list if you are going to smuggle drugs.

Apparently not to three Delta Airline staff members who allegedly attempted to smuggle over half-million dollars worth of heroin through Hartsfield-Jackson International.

The Atlanta News reports that Luis Marroquin, Carlos R Springer and Kelvin Rondon face charges for attempting to smuggle more than $600,000 worth of drugs.

A Delta agent discovered the unclaimed bag on a carousel bearing tags from Flight 364 from Mexico City. When Customs agents inspected the parcel, they discovered numerous bags of both meth and heroin.

The three men are all employed as ramp employees who unload the luggage from flights. The charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison and a fine of up to $10 million.
