Kate Beckinsale told Jimmy Kimmel that her daughter fancied him while she was in the audience... it's the Dredge

All the celeb durt that’s fit to rake.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Kate Beckinsale has been doing the promotional rounds talking about her new film The Only Living Boy in New York. Last night, she popped into Jimmy Kimmel Live for a chat.

As the interview was ongoing, she let the host know that her daughter Lily Mo Sheen – who’s just about to start college – has a massive crush on him:

She just came straight out with it:

You know how they have crushes on Justin Bieber and things like that? She’s got one on you

And Lily Mo was in the audience, presumably slightly embarrassed:

Kate then mentioned the odd situation that her ex Michael Sheen is dating Jimmy’s ex Sarah Silverman:

It’s a little bit of a tricky situation, because my daughter’s dad is dating Jimmy’s ex-girlfriend— it’s very twisted. It’s a sort of horrible, Human Centipede-y vibe

Christmas would be a bit awkward if they got together, on top of the age difference.

Jimmy should be delighted with himself, according to Kate:

Anyway, I think you should be pleased. She’s very attractive. She’s out of your league. I just want you to know that.

*tugs nervously at collar*

Whilst there, Kate also told a good story about finding fake Photoshopped nudes of herself on Reddit and sending them to her mam – with no explanation:

Their family sounds like a rollercoaster of emotions.

Vogue Williams has pretty much ruled out a move to LA – saying that London was a hard enough place to find work.

Speaking to The Herald, Vogue said that it took time to establish herself in London following the move from Dublin:

It’s a tough one to crack. Things are going well, but it does take a long time. When I moved to Australia, it took me a year-and-a-half before I started getting any work. Now in London I’m getting work, but it does take a long time.
I can’t even imagine going to LA or something and starting from scratch again

It’s a hard slog to the top:

You go to things and meet people, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time.
You have to be talented, but you also have to be super lucky as well. There’s a lot of meetings and pushing your own ideas forward. It’s a lot of work.

Chris Martin paid tribute to Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington, with a piano cover of Crawling at a Coldplay gig in New Jersey on Tuesday night.
