#HER MADGE: Madonna paid a secret visit to Ireland yesterday, travelling to south Dublin for the funeral of a friend.

The visit follows a tribute from Madge to Dublin-born interior designer and architect David Collins, who passed away aged 58, on her Instagram. She wrote:

In Memory of David Collins. He was a great talent and A good and loyal friend for 17 years! GOD bless him and may he R.I.P.

But she kept quiet about her whirlwind visit – which involved nearly missing the ceremony. The singer arrived just ten minutes from the end of the funeral Mass, according to the Irish Sun.

The Irish Independent reports that Madonna – who kept even her drivers in the dark about her trip until she arrived – didn’t stay the night, leaving from Dublin Airport yesterday evening.
