TAKE ONE FANCY food conference in Houten, Holland, add some of the “biggest food experts of the Benelux”, and feed them McDonald’s, “telling them they’re trying out a new, organic alternative to fast food”.
You can see where this is going.
First they tried with the sweet stuff – melon and muffins.
To be fair, it’s melon. McDonald’s melon doesn’t have a particular flavour, does it?
It is fresh. They just bought it.
Thumbs up all round for the sweets.
But what about the McDonald’s classics? The McChicken Sandwich? The Fillet O’Fish? The nuggets?
The started off pretty cautiously.
But soon got into the swing of things.
Then, they were asked to compare it to… say, oh… McDonald’s grub.
So there you have it. Either McDonald’s really is delicious, or this lot are talking through their hats.
