NATURALLY, TEENAGERS SPEND the majority of their final year in school mentally preparing for their prom/debs. Pinterest boards, looking out in shops every single week for the perfect dress, booking appointments, limos etc.

A lot of time, money and effort goes into the occasion, so the least you could expect from it would be a few decent Instagram posts.

When Gabi Dunn ended her four month long relationship only two days after prom, she didn’t want to let her photos go to waste.

She decided to replace her ex-boyfriend in them so she could still post them online. So here’s what she came up with.

She has most definitely gotten her moneys worth now anyway, because her post on Twitter has gotten 17,500 retweets and over 130,000 likes.

Gabi spoke to Yahoo Style and said “It was a bad breakup, but I’m totally enjoying this now.” That’s one way to get over a breakup.

The Twitter user said that she has a huge love for Ryan Reynolds and thought “Who could be a better prom date than him?”

So that makes the fact that Ryan Reynolds responded to her even better.

He gave her advice on how to deal with looking at her ex-boyfriend in the yearbook.

Her ex-boyfriend appeared to be a bit jealous of her getting all of this attention and was unable to acknowledge Ryan Reynold’s hashtag advice – #DontMessWithGabi.

So he responded to Ryan Reynold’s tweet with the original, unedited prom photo and said “Jokes on you now I’m not going to see Deadpool 2, my $11 is going to [the new Kevin Hart movie]“.

Ryan Reynolds has not responded to the tweet so it is not clear whether or not he will miss the $11.
