TORMORROW MORNING, IRELAND is set to reach the zenith of 2017′s Ed Sheeran mania when tickets for his seven stadium dates next year all go on sale at the one time.
It’s going to be ridiculous.
People have been queuing for days in Galway to get their hands on tickets, but The Front Door pub in the city decided to mark the occasion of Sheeran mania in a more appropriate way:
By introducing the “Ed Sheeran Cocktail” to the menu this evening
It sounds delicious – if a bit notionsy for a man of Ed’s simple tastes:
Designed in honour of the man himself, this bespoke cocktail includes the perfect mix of Mór Irish Gin, Absolut Citron, Triple Sec, Lime and Cranberry Juice.
And it has a special ingredient on top:
Of course it features a dash of ginger and is decorated with an orange peel on top
Nice touch.
For those unlucky on the ticket front tomorrow, there are worse ideas than getting a cocktail made and named after the man himself
Drinking it while claiming it’s “riding shotgun” – even though nobody here ever says that *cough* Galway Girl *cough* – is definitely on the cards.
