What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Dallas Buyers Club (TG4, 9.55pm)

We’re still just about in the season where class films are popping up on the telly every single night. Tonight, TG4 have the Irish premiere of Dallas Buyers Club featuring Oscar winners Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto, with Jennifer Garner and Steve Zahn supporting. Ease that back-to-school FEAR.

Charlie Brooker’s 2016 Wipe (BBC Two, 10pm)

Another chance to see writer and satirist Charlie Brooker’s look back on the ups and downs of 2016. Featuring Trump, fake news and telly triumphs. We’re surprised he managed to pack it all into an hour, tbh.

Patrick’s Day (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

Premiere. Twenty-six-year-old schizophrenic Patrick gets separated from his overprotective mother Maura during the St Patrick’s Day festivities in Dublin and ends up in the company of a suicidal flight attendant. Meanwhile, Maura enlists the help of a dysfunctional loner cop to find her son.

Everyone’s talking about… this unfortunate blooper in last night’s Sherlock episode

No spoilers but whoever set up Watson’s blog has a lot of explaining to do:

Even he’d have a tough time editing that. (DailyEdge.ie)
