What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The BAFTA TV Awards (BBC One, 8pm)

Graham Norton is back on hosting duties, as the cream of the telly crop arrive to the Royal Festival Hall in London. Sharon Horgan and Graham himself are leading the way for the Irish, with Sharon up for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for the excellent Catastrophe, while Norton gets the nod for Best Entertainment Programme for his Friday night chat show. Whoever wins, it’s bound to be a bit of craic. #BAFTAs

Hillsborough (BBC Two, 9pm)

The football stadium tragedy that’s still in the news today has touched so many people down the years. In light of recent events, the BBC is airing a documentary tonight looking at the tragic events of April 15, 1989, as they’re recounted in depth, with personal testimony from survivors, family members and police officers, many of whom are speaking publicly for the first time. #Hillsborough

Room to Improve (RTÉ One, 7.30pm)

It wouldn’t be Sunday night without it. This classic episode sees Dermot create a wheelchair-friendly house in Malahide. Even though it’s not a new episode, we’ll lap up the twists and turns like we’ve never seen them before. #RoomToImprove

Everyone’s talking about… Brie Larson hosted SNL last night

And they all cracked up mid-sketch:

We’re used to seeing her with little Jacob Tremblay, but she was as awesome as you’d expect on her own:

Not an easy show to pull off by any means:

Or flick over for…

  • Dragons’ Den (RTÉ One, 9.30pm) The Irish business women edition.
  • Man About Dog (TV3, 9pm) Alan Leech in the *lead* role of this Irish comedy.
  • First Dates Ireland (RTÉ 2, 9.55pm) Another chance to see Thursday’s episode, in all its glory.
  • Match of the Day 2 (BBC One, 10.30pm) All the goals that are fit to rake.
