HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of protesters are expected to descend on Washington DC and other cities around the world this evening for the Women’s March against Trump.

Their aim is to send a signal to the Trump administration that “women’s rights are human rights”:

We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.

This afternoon, marches planned for Dublin and Galway took place in the same vein.
