Hozier had his say on Trump's win in the most Irish way... it's the Dredge

All the day’s filth.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Hozier has had his say on Donald Trump’s win in the most Irish of ways. The Bray man posted a Seamus Heaney poem called Anything Can Happen, saying it ‘reads differently today’.

Er, yeah, OK mate.

OK, stand down, Amy Schumer isn’t leaving America. The actress previously said in an interview that she’d move to Spain if Trump became president.

She said:

My act will change because I’ll need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain, or somewhere. It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy.

But in a lengthy Instagram post yesterday, Schumer said it was just a joke, and she wouldn’t be moving. She also criticised Trump voters for taking issue with Hillary’s emails, and said she’s grieving today.

Miley Cyrus, another celebrity who said she’d leave America if Trump won, also took to social media to express her disappointment. It was totes emosh.

The singer posted a video on Twitter where she’s visibly upset, saying:

This hurts to say, but I ever accept you as the President of the United States, and that’s fine… because I think now I want to be hopeful.

She also shed a tear for Hillary, saying she deserved to be the first female President in her lifetime and now she won’t be.
