The James Bond reboot is coming at you to ease the midweek boredom. Daniel Craig’s 007 has to investigate a banker suspected of financing terrorism. Perhaps one of the finest James Bond movies made.

The Butcher Boy (TV 3, 11.20pm)

Neil Jordan’s black comedy based on the Patrick McCabe novel. A boy growing up in a dysfunctional family starts to create a delusional world he gets far too caught up in.

The O’Donovan brothers’ documentary was broadcast last night and has been one of Ireland’s top trends on Twitter all morning.
