Euro ’88: We Can Beat This Lot (RTÉ One, 7pm)

The first of two programmes charting Ireland’s history at the Euros. In this episode, presenter Garry Mac Donncha looks back on the 1988 championship in West Germany, which saw us beating England in Stuttgart.

New series following chef Donal Skehan as he travels around Europe, sampling the cuisine and the culture. In the first episode, he goes to Budapest to try Hungarian delicacies, including these fried dough langos (or flatbreads). #followdonal

Enough Said (Film4, 9pm)

One of James Gandolfini’s final films, this great romantic comedy stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a divorced mother who pursues a new love interest, only to find he’s her new friend’s ex-husband.
