Tighter travel restrictions on arrivals from Britain into Ireland take immediate effect

Fully vaccinated people travelling from Great Britain will still need to self-quarantine for at least five days.
There are no self-quarantine requirements for those travelling from the North - unless a passenger is travelling from Britain via Northern Ireland.
In the week up to Monday, there were 2,270 new cases of Covid-19 - a drop of 21% on the previous week.
