A mam's heartfelt thank you to the air hostess who helped calm her baby is going viral

A+ customer service.

EVERYBODY HAS experienced that unique dread that comes with a baby crying on an airplane, but this air hostess went above and beyond to make sure this little boy was happy on his first ever flight.

Heather Gooch and her son Aiden were on a Southwest Airlines flight from Florida to New York earlier this week when Aiden started to get ‘antsy’.

Speaking to ABC News, Gooch said she feared the worst, until an air hostess called Anissa came to the rescue by walking Aiden up and down the aisle.

Heather didn’t get the opportunity to thank her properly, so she posted on the Southwest Airlines Facebook page:

I have NEVER had a flight attendant as kind and helpful as she was. At one point, she saw that he was looking for her and getting antsy so she came and picked him up and walked up and down the aisle with him while my husband and I ate our lunch. Although this may not be a story that stands out from the rest, I wanted to thank her and let her know how appreciated she is.

Her post has been shared over 53,000 times, and found its way to the air hostess in question. She responded to the post, saying:

Y’all are going to make me cry! It was truly my pleasure and he made MY day… I tell adults all the time on my flights, children are doing exactly what they are supposed to do… Make noise!
Think about it, the aircraft is completely boring to them (after takeoff) and there’s nowhere to run! I would honestly rather hear them make noise and even cry than to hear an adult whine.
