People are 'selling' loaves of bread on DoneDeal after the Beast from the East panic buying

We doubt they’ll have much sales.

PEOPLE ARE PANIC buying bread due to the impending Beast from the East.

We’re not exaggerating, it looks like an inhumane amount of bread was sold yesterday. Because shoving a heap of extremely perishable items into your trolley is the way to go when we’re expecting a blizzard in three days time.

The lucky many who managed to bag a loaf started thinking of some ways to make a profit out of the low stock

First, a man named Mark put an ad on DoneDeal.ie, selling a half load of his Brennan’s pan at €5.

Modest enough, when you consider the demand. People could start taking the piss…

Oh, a half loaf of Irish Pride for 30 on Adverts.ie? Bit steep, but we’ll manage it.

Then there’s this person, selling loaves for €150

Now that’s just taking advantage, not sound.

Still, throw in a few packets of crisps and we’ll consider it.
