win or lose

Ed Sheeran, Saoirse Ronan, and Selena Gomez... it's our celeb winners and losers of the week

Some will win, some will lose.

DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.

Losers

Ed Sheeran

Ed had a good week overall, releasing a duet with none other than BEYONCE. Hello, Christmas number one anyone?

However, he makes our loser list after he was spectacularly snubbed for a GRAMMY nomination. People were pissed on his behalf when he failed to secure one nomination this year.

We’re sure he’ll be grand.

Selena Gomez

SELENA. Stop! Selena is a loser this week due to her comments about working with Woody Allen. In an interview with Billboard she simply said ‘Wow, the universe works in interesting ways’ when asked why she worked with Allen despite the allegations of sexual abuse against him.

She was named the Billboard woman of the year though, so go figure.

Winners

Prince Harry

Prince Harry managed to get Meghan Markle to agree to marry him this week. If that doesn’t make him a winner we don’t know what will. The fact that he’s royalty? Nah.

Dua Lipa

This week, Dua Lipa shared some rules with us about Christmas time. We all know her new rules for dating, but what about saving money? She’s got ya.

Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse is KILLING IT. Her movie Ladybird made Rotten Tomatoes history by becoming the first perfectly reviewed film listed.

This week, she accepted the best actress award at the 27th Annual IFP Gotham Awards. Bring on the Oscars, we say.

Last week’s winners and losers: Pippa O’Connor, Miley Cyrus, and Jeremy McConnell…>
