IT HAS BEEN announced that Ricky Gervais will bring his beloved character David Brent to the big screen for a film called Life on the Road.
The film will commence shooting in 2015 and will be shot in the same mockumentary style as The Office.
It will follow Brent as he works as a sales rep selling cleaning products, all the while still pursuing his dream of becoming a rock star.
When he embarks on a self-financed tour of the UK, things start to go awry and he has to “cash in a couple of pensions because the session musicians are costing him more than he’s getting in ticket sales”.
We can’t wait.
