We love listening to and purchasing his music. We love getting engaged at his concerts. We love dancing to his songs at our weddings.
And it doesn’t look as though the romantic spark is going to be extinguished any time soon.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Ed Sheeran had made chart history in Ireland by occupying the top 16 places in the singles chart.
Not only that, but he he has three albums in the top five.
He’s also totally dominating the Spotify charts here in Ireland. This comes just days after Spotify confirmed that Ed Sheeran’s third album had been streamed a whopping 273 million times in five days, breaking a record previously set by The Weeknd.
It’s just like that time every Irish household bought a copy of David Gray’s White Ladder.
Needless to say, people are pretty impressed.
Sheeran is due to perform two dates in Dublin’s 3Arena next month. The going price of tickets on Seatwave? Anything from €270 to €682.
