Kim Kardashian has reportedly received an apology letter from the man behind the Paris robbery... it's The Dredge

Your final bit of celeb dirt for the week.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

TMZ are reporting that Kim Kardashian has received an apology letter from Aomar Ait Khedache, who led the armed robbery in which she was held hostage last year.

Earlier this week it emerged that Kim Kardashian would not attend Paris Fashion Week this year, following the events of last year’s visit. She was held at gunpoint and feared she would be shot in the back if she attempted to escape.

Khedache, who led the group of armed robbers allegedly wrote a letter to Kim’s attorneys in France, stating that he deeply regrets what he did.

After observing your emotion and realizing the psychological damages I inflicted, I decided to write to you, not to obtain from you some sort of indulgence. I want to come to you as a human being to tell you how much I regret my gesture, how much I have been moved and touched to see you in tears.
Know that I fully sympathize with the pain you are enduring, your children, your husband and your close ones. I hope this letter will allow you to forget little by little the trauma that you suffered by my fault.

Kim has yet to issue a response. (Cosmopolitan)

Louis Walsh slammed RTÉ’s version of Dancing With The Stars.

It appears Louis doesn’t just reserve his criticism for The X Factor. While speaking to The Herald, he mocked the lineup of the show.

Dancing With The Stars? There were no stars. It was more like Dancing With The Staff.

Criticism aside, Walsh added “I thought it was a good show.” He’s looking forward to working on his new show Ireland’s Got Talent because Ireland has “more lunatics per square mile than anywhere else in the world.” (Goss.ie)

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus made an announcement online to let fans know that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Veep and Seinfeld star posted a note to Twitter and Instagram about her condition. She wrote:

1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one.
The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union. The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.

She received hundreds of messages of support. It was recently announced that Veep was coming to an end, but that was unrelated to Julia’s health issues. (The Journal)
