What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Room To Improve (RTE 1, 9.30pm)

OK we all know how it goes at this stage. Dermot meets a couple who bought a shithole and want it done up. They have a budget, he goes off and designs them a castle. They’re a bit wary, but he takes them to a literal mansion to change their minds. Resentment over the frankly ignored concept of a budget bubbles, until they all get together in the end for passive aggressive champagne. We love it. He’s in Moate this week, by the way.

Bridget Jones Diary (TV 3, 9pm)

Because it’s a classic, and we were all Bridget at some stage.

The BAFTAS (BBC 1, 9pm)

Stephen Fry hosts the ceremony live from the Royal Albert Hall. Ruth Negga is up for the EE Rising Star of 2017, so fingers and toes crossed.

Everyone’s talking about… Kate McKinnon

While Melissa McCartney reprised her role as Sean Spicer, Kate McKinnon pretty much played EVERYONE ELSE.

She appeared as Kellyanne Conway, Jeff Sessions, and Elizabeth Warren in last night’s episode, and nailed them all.

Kellyanne, Kate, and Fatal Attraction? The perfect remake.

Or flick over for…

Dancing With the Stars (RTE 1, 8.30pm) More dancing.

First Dates Ireland (RTE 2, 11pm) In case you missed it on Thursday.

The Jump (Channel 4, 7.30pm) Who will injure themselves this week?

Your Highness (e4, 10pm) Natalie Portman is in this movie about a stoner prince. Get it? Get the name? She’s an Oscar winner.
