What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)

This week, ex cruise ship worker Dale has been single since his partner passed five years ago. His date, massage therapist Chris might just be exactly what he needs.

This Is Christy (RTÉ 1, 9.35pm)

This buzzy documentary examines the life and times of Aslan frontman Christy Dignam. The singer has experienced the highs of being a rock star, and the lows of sexual abuse, drug addiction, and illness. It’s bound to be an intriguing watch.

Ordinary Decent Criminal (TV 3, 9pm)

Gangster movie starring Kevin Spacey. A criminal, married to two sisters, becomes a Dublin bigshot. While he enjoys fame in the city, a detective becomes determined to take him down.


Everybody’s talking about… Love Island, of course

Last night’s Love Island was one of the juiciest yet.

Jonny got absolutely pied by Tyla and he became a massive meme.
