David Schwimmer has given British police a hand with his lookalike thief
So, in case you missed it, police in Blackpool are currently on the hunt for a thief who’s the spitting image of Ross from Friends.
Earlier this week, authorities released a still of a man liberating a crate of beer from a restaurant, with social media users giving a nod to his similarity to everyone’s favourite paleontologist.
And, as it happens, the news reached David Schwimmer, who was keen to lend a hand given the circumstances.

In a tweet which has been liked almost half a million times, David protested his innocence and provided an alibi along with footage confirming he was actually in New York, not Britain’s biggest seaside resort.
Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation.

Samantha Markle says Meghan’s recent speech was littered with lies
Meghan Markle is currently on a 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.
And earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex delivered a speech on third-level education at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji.
Drawing on her own experience, Meghan recalled the financial challenges which ultimately accompanied her acceptance into a US university.
“I am also fully aware of the challenges of being able to afford this level of schooling for many people around the world – myself included,” Meghan said.
It was through scholarships, financial aid programmes and work-study where my earnings from a job on campus went directly towards my tuition – that I was able to attend university.
However, her half-sister, Samantha Markle, has something to say about this, and took to Twitter to do it.
In a series of tweets, Samantha accused Meghan of lying, insisting that their father, Thomas, funded Meghan’s third-level education.
‘Our father paid for all of her education. This speech is not true,” she wrote.
Stop the enabling! Do not ever reward a lie it does not matter how fluffy it is! It is wrong and there is no force on the planet that will take this away from my father. She should inspire women with the truth and with gratitude! Roll model, thankfullness and truth, not lies. (sic)
The tweet comes just a week after Samantha extended an olive branch to Meghan over any ‘past misunderstandings’.
Kim Kardashian used to wear three pairs of shapewear in order ‘to leave the house’
In an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim is seen telling her younger sister, Kylie, that in order to leave the house, she often wore three pairs of shapewear.
In the episode, Kylie, who had recently given birth to baby Stormi, was lamenting her new shape, saying she was unable to fit her clothes.
Kim offered some questionable advice, telling Kylie:
Curves are hard. Just wear two pairs of shapewear and get out of the house. I literally would wear sometimes — I’m not joking — three pairs of shapewear just to get out of the house.
Thankfully, she finished it off with a nod to the importance of perspective in the aftermath of pregnancy, saying: “You just have to be confident, get some things that make you feel good about yourself, and find your balance.”
