Tina Fey had the best response to a question about women in comedy... it's the Dredge

All the durt that’s fit to print.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Tina Fey gave the best response when asked about women in comedy. The actress was doing press interviews for her latest movie Sisters, when she was asked if she thought it was a good time for women in comedy.

Along with writer of the movie, Paula Pell, she said

Killed it.

Jennifer Lawrence admitted she had a crush on late night host Seth Meyers and was going to ask him out until she found out she was married. Oh, Jen. Seth’s face tells a tale.

Of course, it was the perfect anecdote to bring out when she appeared on his show last night, and not AT ALL cringe.

She told the former SNL star

I had a really big crush on you.

She decided to later ask him out during a costume setting

And thank god I talked to the wardrobe lady and I was like, ”I think I’m going to ask Seth Meyers out. I’m going to give him my number.” And she was like, ”Honey, he’s engaged”.

Small mercies.
