IT’S THAT TIME of the year in the US when TV execs take a long, hard look at their current network schedules, and then set about culling them like a drunken rampage through your Facebook friends list.
And this year Brooklyn Nine-Nine bore the brunt, with Fox cancelling the much-lauded sitcom after five seasons.
After debuting in 2013, the police-focused show has been the subject of considerable praise over the course of its run for its diverse cast and inclusive storylines.
So, the internet is understandably raging over the decision, and can barely picture a future without Jake Peralta and Terry Jeffords.
And as is the standard Twitter roll, people are taking this hard.
