There are now TWO fewer Cadbury Fingers in every pack

How did this happen?

IT HAS BEEN revealed that the beloved Cadbury Fingers now have fewer actual chocolate fingers per packet than they did before.

What is going on?

The actual manufacturing of the fingers is licensed to Burton’s Biscuit Company in the UK – and the company has confirmed to DailyEdge.ie that the packages do indeed have fewer fingers in them.

A Burton’s Biscuit spokesperson told DailyEdge.ie:

Responding to consumer demand, in June 2014, we reduced our Cadbury Fingers standard packs from 125 grams to 114 grams and introduced a new larger sharing pack of Cadbury Milk Chocolate Fingers at 171g.

Burton’s say that the price reduction has been passed on:

We passed on reductions in cost in line with these changes and reduced the MSRP (Suggested Retail Price) for retailers… making the smaller pack better value per gram.

DailyEdge.ie has reached out to Cadbury Ireland to get a comment on this important chocolate issue.

What does this mean, though? Two fewer chocolate fingers per sitting for some, perhaps. Less delicious fingers to share with your mates? We know for a fact that this will heavily impact on the lives of all Cadbury Fingers lovers out there. We hear you.
