IT MIGHT BE the season of goodwill, but that goes out the window when someone takes your parking spot and gets you a ticket when you have to park somewhere else.
In this instance, this person left them a note telling them that stealing designated parking spaces at Christmas was NOT cool:
The perfectly justifiable note says:
Hey Stranger,
Because you were parked in my spot last night (and still are??), I got a ticket for street parking overnight w/out a permit. I’m broke. These are privately owned spots, and I could have you ticketed + towed. I won’t, but please don’t park in my spot again.
He came back to his car the next day to find the envelope waiting for him, and this response
A very nice gesture:
First I would like to apologize for parking in you[r] spot. It was irresponsible on my part and I would like to give this to you to pay for the ticket and whatever else you need. I[t] can be tough around this time of year. Merry Christmas – the asshole who parked in your spot.
It was uploaded to Imgur last night by a friend of the recipient, who revealed that parking tickets in their area usually run to $35 – so that looks like a lot more cash was given as an apology.
