THEY SAY THAT you should never meet your heroes. This is obviously dependent on who you’re heroes are of course but the idea is that your heroes can never live up to your great expectations of them.

Well, poor old Amanda Seyfried was so excited and nervous to meet Cher (as you would be) that she accidentally made Cher think that she didn’t like her.
Yep.
Amanda was on with Jimmy Fallon promoting the new Mamma Mia movie in which Cher plays Amanda’s grandmother and revealed that she didn’t want to ambush Cher so just very quickly introduced herself to Cher on day one and then ran off.
Standard.
The next day we were shooting and she was like ‘I just didn’t think you wanted to hang out with me, you were so quick to leave!’
Oh god. Poor Cher. Nearly everyone on the planet wants to hang out with Cher and she’s going around believing that people don’t?
The only thing we want Cher to believe in is that there is indeed, life after love.
