First look at what Chewbacca will look like in the new Star Wars movie

Chewbacca snapped a selfie with the chairman of Disney, Bob Iger.

TO CELEBRATE STAR Wars Day yesterday (May the Fourth, and all that), the official Star Wars Instagram account sent out this sneak-peek of what Chewbacca will look like in the upcoming blockbuster.

The man with Chewbacca is Bob Iger, Disney’s chairman, but there has been no confirmation on whether the man inside Chewbacca’s suit is Peter Mayhew. The caption read: “Chairman’s new co-pilot #StarWarsDay” with no other info given.

This follows on from the big cast announcement last week, where Domhnall Gleeson was among the actors announced to star in Episode VII. He will join veterans of the series Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

Filming starts in a few weeks in Pinewood Studios – which is where Chewbacca was rumoured to be snapped.
