TODAY, THE CHUCKLE Brothers were giving evidence at the trial of DJ Dave Lee Travis, who is facing two counts of indecent assault in the 1990s and one count of sexual assault in 2008.
After giving evidence in court, the comedy duo took this (since-deleted) selfie.

As it turns out, people don’t look too kindly on “just gave evidence at a sex trial” selfies. Over on Twitter, several people weighed in with many calling out the inappropriate timing of the selfie, as well as the ridiculous nature of the whole scenario.
As it happens, The Chuckle Brothers seem to take a lot of selfies.
A quick glance through Paul Chuckle’s last few tweets reveals several photos of the pair, including this one of them posing with mandarin tarts, which they then sent to Asda.

Paul Chuckle has since addressed the controversy surrounding the offending tweet in this tweet.
