MARMALADE CAT FOUND
Sadly, the cat had been knocked down and killed by the time we found it, we wanted to let the owners know.
Oh. Ouch.
Some have argued that it was nicer to say this than say nothing at all, but there HAS to be a better way than “WE FOUND YOUR GINGER CAT. It’s dead.” Surely?
