Dublin is getting a massive drive-in cinema just in time for Halloween

Stranded at the drive-in, branded a fool…

ALWAYS DREAMED OF going on a date to the drive-in, like they do in the movies? You’re in luck.

The Retro Drive In, which claims to have the biggest outdoor LED screen in the world, will set up shop in Cherrywood Business Park over the Bank Holiday weekend.

And what’s on the menu? All the classics, like Hocus Pocus, The Lion King, Dirty Dancing and Scream.

All you have to do is roll up in your car, pick your spot, and tune in your radio to hear the film – snacks like burgers and candy floss will be available on site.

If you can’t make it to the Halloween screenings, don’t worry – they’ll be back for Christmas with Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street and Santa Claus: The Movie. Ideal.

Tickets are €26 for a car of five, or €30 for a seven-seater – book them here, and start feeling that 1950s fantasy. Be our date?
