Jake Gyllenhaal was asked about his ex Taylor Swift and it did NOT go well... It's the Dredge

There was a lot of angry staring. All the day’s celebrity dirt, in here.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

A journalist asked Jake Gyllenhaal about Taylor Swift and it did NOT go well. The actor briefly went out with Swift in 2010, and is rumoured to be the inspiration for her song We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

For some reason, The Guardian’s Tim Jonze decided to bring this up in an interview about Gyllenhaal’s new film, and well:

He stares at me, ramping up the intensity of his eyes like he’s done in so many roles. Then he performs an exaggerated shrug. So, er, did he listen to any of the many songs rumoured to be about him? More silence.
The atmosphere has become uncomfortably tense. Would he like to move on? “I would love not to talk about my personal life.” Well, I say, it’s not prying for intimate details, is it? But he disagrees and we end up engaging in a bizarre stand-off where anything I say is met with the same response, repeated through a cold smile: “I would love to talk about the movie.”

Zayn Malik has spoken about suffering from an eating disorder during his One Direction days. In an interview with The Times, he said his mam helped him to recover:

It was a control thing. Every area of my life was so regimented and controlled, it was the one area where I could say “No, I’m not eating that.” I spent time with my mum and got some TLC, and she cooked me food and I got back in touch, mentally, with a lot of things I’d lost.

He said people “didn’t seem to expect it from a guy, but they expect it from a female, which to me is crazy.” Glad to hear he’s feeling better. (Metro)

Hackers claim to have stolen private photos of Holly Willoughby and Kylie Jenner, amongst other female celebrities.

There are reports Willoughby is being ‘taunted’ by hackers saying they have nude photos of her, but a source close to the presenter says she is “unconcerned” as these are “baseless accusations”.

Last week, actresses Emma Watson and Amanda Seyfried had their private photos posted online in a hack reminiscent of the celebrity iCloud photo leaks of 2014. (The Sun)
