wee bag

Jamie Dornan had to explain what 'wee' means in Northern Ireland to Jimmy Kimmel

‘Wee’ as in ‘small’. Not as in ‘urine’.

JAMIE DORNAN AND Dakota Johnson are flat out promoting the final movie in the Fifty Shades franchise, Fifty Shades Freed.

Jamie joined Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! (obviously) to chat about the film … And do vodka shots, seemingly.

Do those shot glasses not look incredibly large?

Look at the regret on Jamie’s face.

It’s probably the same face he makes when he thinks about the day he signed up for the series.

Anyway, between chats, him and Jimmy got talking about filming sex scenes and how it’s not really awkward for him or Dakota anymore.

This is gonna sound bad, but it’s almost like brother, sister.”

Ok.

When filming those particular scenes, they keep “whoever needs to be in there in the room”, which makes sense, given the material is so … Intimate.

And speaking of intimate, Jamie explained the, er, ‘apparatus’ he wears during filming.

Yeah I wear, like, a wee bag.”

And with that, a million American heads exploded in the audience.

That’s an expression that I say from where I’m from – ‘a wee bag’. But it doesn’t mean it’s actually ‘wee’ inside.”

In a (vain) effort to lure back an already reeling audience, he assured them:

I actually wear quite a big bag … Like a potato sack.”

If you needed more of an incentive to see the final movie, that’s probably it.

You can hear Jamie explain his first interaction with his ‘bag’ here.
