OVER THE PAST few days, there have been murmurs that it might snow in Ireland with Met Éireann issuing two snow-ice warnings yesterday morning.

And, lo and behold, it is snowing in Co. Donegal this morning.
This is the scene in Letterkenny. As you can see, the cars and footpaths are lightly dusted with snow like something from a Christmas card.
Not enough for a snowman, but we’ll take it.
