Dublin's Lighthouse Cinema is screening some brilliant Irish films for free this weekend

Happy Easter, one and all!

IN DUBLIN FOR the Easter weekend and looking for something to do?

On Easter Monday, the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield will be paying tribute to Irish film with a full day of free screenings.

It’s all part of Cruinniú na Cásca, a series of public events all around the country celebrating Irish culture and creativity.

Here’s what they’ll be showing, completely saor in aisce - it’s a great auld lineup:

Don’t fancy sitting in for a film? There are loads of other events happening around the city all day, from storytelling to trad music workshops to live music.
