Lorde has a secret Instagram account where she reviews onion rings... It's the Dredge

Our kinda gal. All the day’s celebrity filth, in here.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

We have always wondered how many celebrities are skulking around Twitter and Instagram on anonymous accounts… and now we’ve finally uncovered one. Maybe.

New Zealand site Newshub has put forward the theory that Lorde is behind an Instagram account called @onionringsworldwide, which rates onion rings, erm, worldwide.

The evidence? Well, it only has 24 followers, one being Lorde – and others being her known ‘associates’ (as they call them). The locations also match up to where Lorde has been recently.

The account vanished after Newshub published their exposé, so one can only assume it’s true. Lorde, come back! We need more onion ring reviews in our lives. (AV Club)

In a lovely gesture, Ariana Grande is to receive honorary citizenship of Manchester.

The city council is proposing a new system to recognise outstanding contributions to the city, with Ariana expected to be the first recipient.

The popstar organised a massive benefit concert in aid of those affected by the bombing at her concert in the city on May 22, in which 22 people were killed.

A council leader said that people already consider her to be an ‘honorary Mancunian’. (BBC)

We’ve all had cause to be incredibly proud of Manchester and the resilient and compassionate way in which the city, and all those associated with it, have responded to the terrible events of May 22 – with love and courage, rather than hatred and fear.

Music producer Diplo is not at all happy with Katy Perry putting him last in her 'sex rating'.

James Corden asked the popstar to rate all her exes' performance in bed, with Diplo last, Orlando Bloom second, and John Mayer first. Eeek!

Diplo had this to say about it:

diplo @diplo @diplo

Harsh. He seems to have remembered something of it later on though, because he tweeted this baffling statement:

diplo2 @diplo @diplo

There there, Diplo. It's the taking part that counts.

And the rest of the day's celebrity dirt...
