Met Eireann may have overstated how cold it was going to be in the West of Ireland last night

You what now?

IT WAS PRETTY nippy out there last night, but Met Éireann may have been exaggerating slightly when delivering the forecast for the West of Ireland.

But just look at the number appearing over the West…

-13, you say? Well that’s quite the dip in temperatures.

Needless to say, the error did not go unnoticed.

“Get the electric blanket out, Mammy. It’s like Siberia out there tonight.”
