Pics are very funny……my cat is a little spoilt madam…..she hates when I put my laptop on my lap…..she will sit beside me giving me filthy looks until I remove the laptop and then she will settle onto my lap…..at times I refuse to give in by removing the laptop and she will walk across the keyboard and sit on the keys looking at me like she’s giving me an ultimatum :)

  Amen brother. Every article of clothing I have is covered in cat hair, even if hermetically sealed in cellophane. Ditto with everything else in my house.

I do own a cat – or he owns me. Anyhoo Nevis 16 years old, and we have none of that behaviour!

  Not Nevis. He is! Emer misunderstands. Cats don’t care about computers, mobile phones, whatever. What they care about is anything that takes the ‘owners’ attention away from said cat, and prevents the owner from just sitting and adoring said cat.

Cats computers = infinite cat project: http://www.infinitecat.comnMy cat is obsessed with my laptop (just sent in his pic). If he has a choice of sitting on laptop or newspaper or my knee he goes into an existential crisis.

Dogs are lovely but cats rule!! They are just sooo much fun to watch. Their antics are hilarious and they are much more loyal than people give them credit for. They’re great craic, always up to some divilment!!! Meeeooow.

When I was in school, my cat used to sit on my text books when I was trying to do my homework LOL the new kitten justs balls in your face or pucks your hand til you let her up on your lap. She doesn’t like the laptop.

Thank you for providing me with today’s aspiration – get as many of these pictures of my cats on my laptop and post them to the Interweb of similar minded cat lovers. I am a certified cat lady.

  Ah, don’t be like that. Dogs have their charms. I love dogs (all animals really!) but my personal circumstances don’t permit a dog. The old man/woman cat/dog thing really does apply, each has the same basic needs but thereafter their requirements are different :-)

  I was the exact same until 4 months ago. A 100% dog fan.
  My father in law heard a kitten caught in a hedge in front of our house. He brought it into the house to the kids.
  I came home and said we couldn’t keep it.
  The kids won me over and named it Kitty. (my daughter is 3. A cat has to be called Kitty..!)
  I must admit, Kitty is worming her way into my affections. :-)

  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind being in a room with a cat, but I don’t like them coming up rubbing on me like I’m gonna throw it a €50 ;) I like the clumsy nature of dogs. Oh and yeah I don’t mind kittens..until they grow up and start looking at you with those “ill scratch your eyes out” looks!

  Totally agree with u they can win people over, I wanted a cat for ages and my boyfriend was just not having it so I did what I always do and just didnt listen to him and got one anyway.
  Now he loves the cat and we get hours of entertainment out of him the cat rules the house now and even our two dogs love playing with him.
